FACE OF DIABETES IS EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK -- a four year old child,
a high school student, your peers, and your parents.
Every 30 seconds another diabetic is diagnosed and it is projected that
there will be almost 400 million diabetics
worldwide by 2030. Fortunately, there is hope on the horizon. Tremendous
advances in research are being made
every day -- advances that may profoundly affect your life or those of
your loved ones.
In honor of those dedicated to the fight against diabetes, proceeds
from the "CURE COLLECTION"
will be sent to the Massachusetts
General Hospital Diabetes Center, one of the oldest and and most
effective diabetes research centers in the country. The funds raised will
will help fund innovative and
promising early-stage research that someday may lead to a cure.
